We finally did move on Friday after much nail-biting but now have no internet for 10 days until the broadband is installed.
The move was rather chaotic with lots of friends calling in and children playing hide and seek in a wardrobe that they seem to think leads to Narnia. Sister was in charge of unpacking the kitchen boxes and a few days later we were having a chat about her Veg plot which is finally ready for planting.
Me: "You can have some of my chitted potatoes as there are plenty"
Sister: "What are chitted potatoes?"
Me: "The ones in that tray with little sprouts"
Sister: "Ooh, I thought they were for chips, I said to Mother how strange it was that you stored your potatoes so carefully"

Congratulations on the move - Now get out in that garden and grow stuff!
Sis' veg plot looks very smart - I think she may be overdoing it a bit on the potting shed though.
Glad your move went OK-ish. It's never much fun, altho we once did it start to finish in 2 hours. We were younger then. What are your priorities now? House or Garden?
Congrats on the move. I hope you settle in quickly and start feeling "at home" very soon.
Thanks All! I don't really know where to start - the cottage needs loads of work, Spouse knocked down a wall the day we moved in. Some of the internal walls are m,ade from hardboard (Spouse & his blokey mates keep knocking them) Outside, the render drops of in great slabs... I am really keen on getting to grips in the garden but can't do much until the fir & leylandii are out.
